New Risers:
The new risers arrived just in time for the Expressions final performance of last year and they are great. Thanks to all those that helped in purchasing them.
Upcoming events:
Expressions DeKalb Competition Preview Performance
Buffalo Grove High School's Expressions Show Choir will present their next competition preview performance on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the High School's Miller Theatre, located at 1100 Dundee Road, Buffalo Grove. Cost of admission is $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for students.
The Expressions competed in a regional competition at the Mt. Zion Invitational in Decatur, Illinois in January and won Best Band, Best Choreography and placed 1st runner up in overall performance.
Their next competition will be at the DeKalb Show Choir Invitational in Auburn, Indiana on February 11. On Saturday, March 3, they will compete in the Chicagoland Showcase at Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, IL. For the first time, the Buffalo Grove High School's Chamber Choir will also be competing in the Chicagoland Showcase in the Choir Division on Friday, March 2. On March 24, the Expressions will perform at the Genesee Theater in Waukegan, IL to compete in the Fame Chicago National Championship.
