Competition Information & Results: 2008-2009
The Expressions competed in the Mt. Zion regional competition.in Decatur, Illinois and placed First Runner Up. On February 14th, The Expressions competed in the Dekalb Show Choir Invitational in Auburn, Indiana, and won Grand Champions, Best Vocals and Best Choreography.
On March 7th, The Expressions again were selected Grand Champions, Best Vocals and Best Choreography in the Chicagoland Showcase at Hersey High School.
In their final competition this year at the Show Choir Nationals held at the "Grand Ole Opry Stage."in Nashville, Tennessee March 19-21, The Expressions were again chosen Grand Champions, Best Choreography and Best Visuals! Congratulations on an outstanding year to all the performers, band and crew as well as to Ms. Utley and Randy Sage.
